Melaleuca Field is a great place for all you baseball fans out there. The Minor League team from Idaho Falls area will be playing their home games at this stadium, so come check them out. The Chukars are the only pro sports organization in East Idaho, and their home turf is a major reason they have such passionate fans. Melaleuca Field provides an ideal setting for the games played there-it’s just not often that you find perfect.

The Chukars are Eastern Idaho’s only professional sports team and have been around for over 80 years. They play in the minor leagues, but their history goes back to 1920 when they were known as “Idaho Falls Spuds” before changing it officially because people thought “spud” was too short a nickname.

Melaleuca Field is a bluegrass-rich park that reminds you of why baseball is America’s pastime. The smell, the sound, and even this place has something for everyone. Melaleucas Field opened in 2007 after McDermotField which also had its own charm, but it seems as if there are not many people who know about them or care enough to visit often anymore, either way, they’ll just take advantage while these fields still exist because when they’re gone our chances at seeing what makes us so great will be lost forever.

Situated at  900 Jim Garchow Way, Idaho Falls, ID 83402, USA, Melaleuca Field is a must for any fan of the game. The stadium offers great food, exciting games, and an opportunity to see your favorite player up close. Melaleuca Field is the perfect place to enjoy a hot dog and catch some foul balls during summertime. You can sit in your lawn chair as you cheer on the Chukars or get up close if that’s more comfortable for you.

The Chukars have been sharing their home with major league teams for over a century. They call it Melaleuca Field, which was built in 2007 and seats 3 500 people–it’s got extensive brickwork as well an imposing grandstand to offer fans some great views from above or below on this intimate venue that is always packed full of energy.

Melaleuca Field has a plaque with the names of people who donated to this project. The local residents and businesses are engraved in brick around the stadium, so it’s not just one person or company providing funding.

Heading to Idaho Falls? You won’t want to miss a game at the stadium. The Melaleuca Field is home to some great baseball and fan following, so if you’re in town, there’s no way you shouldn’t also take part! It regularly hosts games alongside local teams’ events as well- ample seating with plenty available for purchase such as souvenirs or snacks inside their large complex store where they sell all kinds anything from memorabilia items & shirts featuring nostalgic logos long forgotten by many nowadays due to change over time.
